Hamburger Soup

½-1lb hamburger
1 quart tomatoes (2 small cans)
4 potatoes
2 celery ribs
4 carrots
1 onion
1 quart water
sweet basil, salt, and pepper

Brown meat with onions, drain. Cut up vegetables, add to meat.
You can change the amounts of vegetables to what ever you want.
These are approximate. Add tomatoes and water. Boil about 30 minutes
or until vegetables are tender. Season with salt, pepper and basil.
This works great in a crock-pot or pressure cooker as well. If you use a
pressure cooker, still brown your meat first and add water after cooking. Pressure about 5 minutes.
