WHITE BREAD



















2 c. very warm water
6 c. unbleached white flour
2 tsp oil or shortening
¼ c sugar
1/3 c dry milk
1 Tbsp yeast
1 ½ tsp salt

Mix all ingredients together. Knead for 5 minutes or mix in in mixer with dough hook for 4-5 minutes. Cover and let rise till double. Divide into 2 loaves. Knead a few times and smooth into a loaf shape. Place in greased bread pans, cover and let rise till center is over top of pan.
















Bake at 325* for 25-26 minutes. Remove from oven; let stand for 5 minutes then remove to a clean towel lying on one side. After a few minutes, turn to other side, then stand them up. Place in bags when cool.
