Skillet balls

1/2 cup corn syrup
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/8 tsp salt
3/4 cup peanut butter
1 tsp vanilla
3 cups Rice Krispies (or 4 cups Chex)

In a saucepan combine corn syrup, sugar, brown sugar and salt. Bring to a boil; stir constantly. Immediately remove from heat. Add peanut butter and vanilla, mix well. Stir in cereal. Form into 1-inch balls and place on waxed paper to cool. Yield 4 dozen.
