Luscious Lime Salad

1 can (16 oz.) pears
1 pkg. (3 oz.) lime gelatin
2 Tbsp. milk
1 pkg. (3 0z.) cream cheese, softened
2 cups whipped topping

Drain syrup from pears; add water to syrup to make 1 cup. Bring syrup mixture to a boil and add gelatin. Stir until dissolved; let cool. Puree pears in a blender; stir into gelatin. Blend milk and cream cheese until smooth; fold into whipped topping. Blend in gelatin mixture with a wire whip. Pour into an 8x8-inch pan and refrigerate until set. Yield: 4-6 servings. USUExt.
